What happens after the draw?

Notification of Winners: All prize winners will be notified by telephone or mail following the completion of the draw(s). The names of all prize winners will be published on our website.

Acceptance of Prizes: All travel prizes are stated in Canadian Dollars and include all applicable taxes. Winners must accept the prize as awarded or take the cash alternative. Trips must be booked through Winspire. All travel packages include WINSPIRE BOOKING & CONCIERGE SERVICES. Winspire provides a team of seasoned travel professionals to help redeem travel experiences. Winspire will book all travel-related details and reservations for every part of the experience. Included within their services, Winspire can assist with extra hotel nights, airfare, and additional guests as a full-service travel agency at the cost incurred to the winner. Winspire Travel packages and experiences must be booked within one year following the draw date. The actual travel date must occur within two years following the draw date. Reservations are subject to availability, blackout dates, and major holidays as stated. Reservations must be booked 60 days in advance of travel. Vacation packages are non-refundable. Certificates cannot be resold or replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. All vacations include economy flights and leave from Toronto. Winspire reserves the right to substitute an alternative room/flight/or other offerings of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable at time of award. All package values are based on travel at high season travel pricing. Prizes do not include travel insurance. All travelers will require a valid passport (where applicable). Please check for any/other necessary visa or documentation requirements prior to travel; including, but not limited to Covid-19 vaccinations, testing, masking. Bookings are subject to the rules and regulations of the airline, carrier, resort, or hotel. All bookings are subject to change. Bluewater Health Foundation is not responsible for trip cancellations, changes, delays, layovers, seat assignments or airline schedule changes. By accepting the travel prize, the winner accepts these risks. The winner and guests must cover costs not included in the prize, such as travel and health insurance, personal expenses, medical costs, excluded meals and beverages, gratuities, and other unspecified expenses. A valid credit card may be required for incidental charges. The winner and guests must travel on the same itinerary and have valid travel documents. Obtaining necessary travel documents is the winner's responsibility. Travel prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

Congratulations on winning! A team member from Winspire will be in contact to finalize and set up the details of your vacation. 

Winspire Package Redemption: Winspire Travel packages and experiences must be booked within one year of the draw date. The actual travel date must occur within two years of the draw date. 

Winspire Booking & Concierge Services: Winspire provides a team of seasoned travel professionals to help you redeem your experience. They will book all travel-related details and reservations for every part of your experience. Included within their services, Winspire can assist with extra hotel nights, airfare, and additional guests as a full-service travel agency at the additional expense to the winner. 

Additional Information: Reservations are subject to availability, blackout dates, and major holidays. Reservations must be booked 60 days in advance of travel. Purchases through charity fundraisers are non-refundable. 

Certificates cannot be resold or replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. Ground transportation is the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated.

Taking the Cash Alternative:

Don’t want to take the trip, you can choose to take the cash alternative prize. If you choose to take the cash option, you are declining to accept the vacation in lieu of a monetary value. You will have no claim to any part of the vacation package.
