Trains of Switzerland
The legendary trains of Switzerland are among the finest in the world and the Swiss have perfected making mountains accessible. Imagine the spectacular alpine scenery as you travel in first-class comfort in panoramic cars that are air-cushioned and air-conditioned. Gaze on the beautiful Swiss Alp peaks, the sparkling lakes, lush flowered meadows, historic castles, the iconic profile of the Matterhorn, deep-cut glacial valleys, vineyards, gushing white water streams, and magic mountains flanked by enormous glaciers. Experience the legendary Glacier Express as it crosses 291 bridges and passes through 91 tunnels on an unforgettable journey from St. Moritz to Zermatt.
Enjoy 9-nights of accommodations in carefully chosen 4-star small hotels, inns, and classic berghotels, also referred to as Berghaus or Berggasthaus. “Berg” is the German word for “mountain,” so these inns are “Mountain Hotels” or “Mountain Guesthouses.” The accommodations are in great locations, offer a high standard of comfort and quality, with a mix of welcoming atmosphere, traditional cuisine and authentic charm. This tour includes all transportation during the tour, excursions, luggage transfers, and an expert guide to provide you with the best Swiss experience possible. Also included are all breakfasts and dinners with the exception of the second to last day when a farewell lunch will be provided.
Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Switzerland take a train to Lucerne where your small group tour will begin. Enjoy first-class travel on your trains and boats and in the rare event that first-class is not available, standard class will be provided. An assortment of entertaining mountain excursions are planned such as: traveling by cable car to the top of Mt. Pilatus for amazing views of Lucerne and the Swiss Alps, visiting a local chocolatier and the medieval Gruyères Castle, riding the Gornergrat train for the best views of the Matterhorn mountain, walking on the Aletsch glacier which is the longest glacier in the Alps, and more.

Notification of Winners: All prize winners will be notified by telephone or mail following the completion of the draw(s). The names of all prize winners will be published on our website.
Acceptance of Prizes: All travel prizes are stated in Canadian Dollars and include all applicable taxes. Winners must accept the prize as awarded or take the cash alternative. Trips must be booked through Winspire. All travel packages include WINSPIRE BOOKING & CONCIERGE SERVICES. Winspire provides a team of seasoned travel professionals to help redeem travel experiences. Winspire will book all travel-related details and reservations for every part of the experience. Included within their services, Winspire can assist with extra hotel nights, airfare, and additional guests as a full-service travel agency at the cost incurred to the winner. Winspire Travel packages and experiences must be booked within one year following the draw date. The actual travel date must occur within two years following the draw date. Reservations are subject to availability, blackout dates, and major holidays as stated. Reservations must be booked 60 days in advance of travel. Vacation packages are non-refundable. Certificates cannot be resold or replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. All vacations include economy flights and leave from Toronto. Winspire reserves the right to substitute an alternative room/flight/or other offerings of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable at time of award. All package values are based on travel at high season travel pricing. Prizes do not include travel insurance. All travelers will require a valid passport (where applicable). Please check for any/other necessary visa or documentation requirements prior to travel; including, but not limited to Covid-19 vaccinations, testing, masking. Bookings are subject to the rules and regulations of the airline, carrier, resort, or hotel. All bookings are subject to change. Bluewater Health Foundation is not responsible for trip cancellations, changes, delays, layovers, seat assignments or airline schedule changes. By accepting the travel prize, the winner accepts these risks. The winner and guests must cover costs not included in the prize, such as travel and health insurance, personal expenses, medical costs, excluded meals and beverages, gratuities, and other unspecified expenses. A valid credit card may be required for incidental charges. The winner and guests must travel on the same itinerary and have valid travel documents. Obtaining necessary travel documents is the winner's responsibility. Travel prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

Additional Information: Reservations are subject to availability, blackout dates, and major holidays. Reservations must be booked 60 days in advance of travel. Purchases through charity fundraisers are non-refundable.
Certificates cannot be resold or replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. Ground transportation is the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated.
Taking the Cash Alternative:
Don’t want to take the trip, you can choose to take the cash alternative prize. If you choose to take the cash option, you are declining to accept the vacation in lieu of a monetary value. You will have no claim to any part of the vacation package.
